QUICK AND EASY CHEESE CHOWDER 
1 stick butter
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 rib celery, 1 carrot, 1 green pepper (optional), finely chopped
3/4 c. flour
1 lg. can (48 oz.) College Inn Chicken Broth
1 jar (16 oz.) Cheez Whiz
6-8 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. crushed red peppers, or to taste

Melt butter in Dutch oven. Saute vegetables until soft. Add flour and stir over low heat about 5 minutes. Add hot chicken broth and stir until smooth. Add jar of Cheez Whiz, bacon and Worcestershire sauce. Sprinkle with red pepper and heat until cheese is melted.
