CLAM CHOWDER | |
1 lb. bacon, cut in bite-size pieces fried to personnel taste 1 med. red onion, chopped 3 cans clams (minced, chopped or whole) 2 bottles clam juice (8 oz. each) 4-6 potatoes, peeled & cut in bite-size pieces 1/2 gal. milk Brown bacon to the consistency that you like; drain fat. Saute onion with bacon. Add clams, juice and potatoes, slowly add milk to fill pot. Simmer until potatoes are done. Thicken to own likeness. Enjoy. |
