German chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Make cake as directed on package. Pour 1/2 of batter in greased and floured 13x9 pan and bake 20 minutes. Remove from oven. Pour mixture of melted caramel and milk over the cake. Put chocolate chips over the caramel and then the nuts. Pour the remaining batter on top. Bake another 20 minutes or until done. (Good for school lunches because the "frosting" is in the middle.)
