HAMBURGER CASSEROLE WITH
AMERICAN CHEESE
 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 c. sliced celery (1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick)
1 pkg. of frozen French cut green beans
1 can cream of mushroom soup plus 1/2 c. milk
Chinese crispy noodles for topping

Brown 1 lb. of ground beef, place in 1 to 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Thaw beans under running water. Spread on top of hamburger. Layer chopped onions then sliced celery. Combine milk with canned soup and pour over celery. Bake in 375 degree oven for 1/2 hour uncovered. Celery should be partially cooked but crunchy. When at this stage, pour Chinese noodles on top and brown. Serve with rice.
