VEGETABLE OR CALICO SALAD 
1 can French type green beans
1 can whole kernel corn
1 can English peas
1 sm. jar pimentos
1 sm. can mushrooms
4 stalks diced celery
1 green pepper, diced
1 med. carrot, shredded
1 chopped onion
1/2 c. salad oil
1/4 c. water
3/4 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic salt

Drain water off green beans, corn, peas and mushrooms. Combine in a large bowl. Add salad pimentos, celery, green pepper, carrot and onion; mix well. Add salad oil, water, vinegar, sugar and garlic salt. Mix these ingredients and pour over vegetables. 8-10 hours or overnight, drain and serve. This salad is better the longer it sets.
