DATE NUT BARS 
CRUST:

1/3 c. oil
1/2 c. honey
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. flour
2 c. quick oats

Mix together and press half of it into a square 9 inch baking pan. Reserve other half for the top.

FILLING:

2 c. pitted dates
1/2 c. water

Cook in a small saucepan until dates are soft and thickened. Add more water if needed.

Spread date filling on crust in pan. Sprinkle remainder of crust evenly on top. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
