DANISH SANDWICH PUFF 
12 slices day-old bread
6 slices sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (6 1/2 oz.) can tuna
1 (6 oz.) can crabmeat or cut up chicken
2/3 c. mayonnaise
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. minced onion
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. Tabasco

Remove crusts from bread. Arrange slices in 8 1/2 x 14-inch casserole. Cover with cheese. Blend fish (or chicken) with mayonnaise. Spread over cheese. Cover with remaining 6 slices bread. Beat eggs well, blend in milk and remaining ingredients. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 325 degrees for 50 minutes until puffy and brown. May put paprika over top. Serve at once. Serves 6.
