EASY, EASY BROWNIES 
3/4 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
3/4 c. self-rising flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Melt butter; add sugar. Mix flour, cocoa, eggs and nuts, and add to butter and sugar mixture. Beat well with a wooden spoon. Pour into a well greased baking dish or pan (8 1/2 x 11-inch).

Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

TOPPING:

1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 to 4 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. cocoa

Mix together confectioners sugar, melted butter, milk and cocoa. Heat to boiling. Pour over baked brownies.

Doubles easily.
