EGG YOLK PASTRY | |
5 c. flour 4 tsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 c. shortening 2 egg yolks, beaten Add water to egg yolks to make scant cup. Mix dry ingredients together. Add shortening and mix until pea sized particles. Add egg yolks and water and mix until it can be formed into a ball. Yield: At least 2 double pie crusts. |
