CHOCOLATE COVERED SALTINES 
saltine squares (enough to cover cookie sheet)
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Cover cookie sheet with foil. Spray foil with Pam. Place about 30 saltines on foil. Melt butter; add brown sugar to melted butter. Bring mixture to a boil for 3 minutes. Pour over saltines.

Bake at 375°F for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from oven and spread chocolate chips over saltines. They will melt; use spatula to spread evenly. Top with nuts. I sometimes buy chopped toffee at Weavers and spread with the nuts.

I have a friend who wanted to make these for a bake sale and her husband told her she couldn't call them chocolate covered saltines because nobody would buy them. So she renamed them Chocolate Covered Judys.
