SAVORY RIBS 
3 to 4 lbs. pork spareribs
1 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
1/2 c. catsup
1/4 c. chili sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 clove garlic

Place ribs in Dutch oven. Cover with water. Bring to a boil - then reduce heat and cook 1 hour. Drain. Place in 9 x 13 inch pan. Stir together remaining ingredients. (Saute onions before adding). Heat mixture through. Pour over ribs. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes. Baste occasionally. Serves 5 to 6.
