HASH BROWN POTATO DISH 
2 lb. hash browns, thawed
6 oz. Cheddar cheese
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 pt. sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 c. sauteed onion (in the 1/2 stick butter)
1 tsp. salt

Mix and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, covered with foil. Add topping and bake uncovered an additional 30 minutes.

TOPPING:

2 c. cornflakes, crushed
1/2 stick butter, melted

Makes topping.
