SERINA KAKER 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
1 cup sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. almond flavor
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder

TOPPING:

slightly beaten egg whites
chopped almonds

Cream butter. Add sugar gradually. Add egg yolks and mix thoroughly. Add almond flavoring and flour mixed with baking powder. Roll 1/2 heaping teaspoon into small ball. Place on cookie sheet and flatten top with a fork (may be dipped in flour).

Brush tops with beaten egg whites and sprinkle chopped almonds on them. Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
