1/2 tbsp. butter 2 lbs. chuck steak 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. A-1 Sauce 1 tbsp. chopped parsley 1/2 can tomatoes (1 lb.) 1 env. of onion soup mix 1/2 green pepper Freshly ground pepper 1 tbsp. cornstarch Mushrooms are optional 1/2 can juice from tomatoes Spread center of 20 inch sheet of heavy aluminum with butter. Cut steak into pieces, arrange on foil, slightly overlapping. Sprinkle with onion mix, mushrooms, green pepper, tomatoes and seasonings. Mix juice and A-1 sauce with cornstarch and pour over meat and vegetables. Bring foil up over and seal. Bake 2 hours at 375 degrees. |
