FISH BATTER | |
1 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1 egg, separated 1 c. lukewarm water 1 tsp. oil Sift flour, baking powder, salt in a bowl. Drop egg yolk in center. Add water and oil. Mix well. Fold in beaten egg white. Dry fish pieces and dip in batter. Heat oil to 365 degrees and fry 4 to 6 minutes or until golden brown. You may need to add a little water, depending on how thin you want the batter. |
