SLOW COOKER STEW | |
1 1/2 lbs. stew beef meat 1 lg. onion, chopped 4 carrots, scraped and cut in bite sizes 2 ribs celery, cut into bite size pieces 4 med. potatoes, peeled and cut into bites 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes (undrained) 1 1/2 c. coffee, perked or instant 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca Brown beef cubes in pot on range. Transfer beef cubes to slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, stirring to blend. Cover and cook on slow for 8 hours or until meat is tender. |
