TALLARENA 
2 lbs. ground round steak
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 (7 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 lg. can corn niblets
1/2 lb. grated Velveeta cheese
1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
Season with salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce

Wilt onion in oil. Add ground round steak and cook until brown. Add bell pepper, tomato, and mushrooms; simmer. Meanwhile, cook egg noodles as directed on package and drain. After meat mixture has simmered for 15 minutes. Add corn, noodles, and cheese (reserve some cheese for top later). Add seasonings. Pat mixture in 9 x 14 inch casserole and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with reserved cheese. Continue to bake until cheese melts. Serves 8-10 people.
