CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE BROWNIES 
1 c. butter
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. unsifted flour
3/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture until well blended. Stir in nuts. Grease bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Spread batter evenly in pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

BROWNIE FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. powdered sugar
1-2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. corn syrup (optional)

Cream butter and cocoa in small bowl. Add vanilla and powdered sugar. Blend in milk and corn syrup. Beat until mixture is of spreading consistency.
