CHOCOLATE EGG NOG | |
4 c. milk, divided 4 eggs, separated 1/3 c. Hershey's Cocoa 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. brandy extract 1 tsp. rum extract Grated chocolate In blender container combine 1 cup milk, egg yolks, cocoa, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla and salt. Cover and blend on high speed until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour mixture into large mixing bowl; stir in remaining 3 cups milk and extracts, blending well. Beat egg whites until soft peaks form; gently fold into milk mixture. Chill thoroughly. Stir well before serving. Sprinkle with grated chocolate. Note: 1/2 cup rum, brandy or bourbon may be substituted for extracts. About 8 (6 ounce) servings. |
