LEMON CHIFFON CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar

Make a well and add the following: 7 egg yolks Grated rind of 1 lemon 1 tsp. vanilla 3/4 c. cold water

Mix all together and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites into which has been added 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar. Bake in 325 degree oven in tube pan about 1 hour.
