FROSTING FOR MOCK ANGEL FOOD
CAKE
 
7 egg yolks
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. coconut

Beat egg yolks with fork and add cream, sugar and salt. Mix well and cook in double boiler until thick, stirring occasionally. Cool. fold in coconut, vanilla and nuts and spread on cake. This frosted cake freezes well.
