EASY POPOVERS 
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt (if desired)
1 c. flour, sifted

Generously butter 8 to 10 custard cups. Break the eggs into a mixing bowl and stir in the milk. Add the salt (or omit if you wish) and flour and stir with a spoon but disregard lumps. Ladle the mixture into the prepared custard cups until they are 3/4 full. Arrange cups on a baking sheet and place in COLD oven. Immediately set the oven control to 450 degrees. Bake 30 minutes.

Yield 8 to 10 popovers. If just 4 are wanted, just cut the ingredients in half and proceed as above.
