MACARONI MIX-UP 
1 lb. lean ground beef
4 or 5 strips bacon
1 med. sized onion (chopped fine)
1 green pepper (chopped)
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 can crushed tomatoes (could also use fresh tomatoes)
1 box elbow macaroni

Fry bacon crisp to crumble. Remove some fat from skillet. Add ground beef; fry to brown. Add onions and green peppers. Fry until all is brown. Add tomatoes and let simmer. Salt and pepper.

Cook elbow macaroni (not too soft). Drain. Add meat mixture to macaroni. Simmer a bit and serve. Good!!
