SCALLOPED SCALLOPS 
1 pt. scallops (cut if using lg. sea scallops)
1/2 c. butter
1 c. Ritz cracker crumbs
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
2/3 c. cream
Salt and pepper

Wash scallops quickly. Drain. Melt butter and add crumbs. Put layer of crumbs in deep dish, cover with scallops and half of the cream. Season with salt; repeat. Cover with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Note: Over baking toughens the scallops. Makes 4 servings.
