COCONUT POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. butter flavor
1/2 c. Crisco
5 eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. rum flavor
1 tsp. coconut flavor

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg one at a time. Beat well after each addition. Mix in flour and baking powder. Add milk alternately mixing well. Add flavoring and make sure everything is mixed very well. Pour into large greased and floured tube pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done.
