RICE KRISPIES TREATS 
6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1/4 c. butter
1 (10 1/2 oz.) bag miniature marshmallows

MICROWAVE: butter on high for 45 seconds or until melted. Add marshmallows; stir to combine. Microwave 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after 45 seconds. Immediately stir in cereal until well coated. Press mixture into 13"x9"x2" pan, well greased. Cool. Cut into squares. Yield: 24 (2"x2") squares.

CONVENTIONAL METHOD ON STOVE: Melt butter with marshmallows in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir until completely melted. Remove from heat, add Rice Krispies until well coated. Press in 13"x9"x2" pan, greased. Cool and cut into squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
