APPLE (LESS) PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. water
20 whole Ritz crackers

Mix together sugar, cream of tartar and water, cook together. Bring to a boil. Then add crackers and boil 2 minutes. Do not stir. Pour in unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter and cinnamon. Cover with crumb mixture. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes then 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

CRUMB MIXTURE:

1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter

Mix all together.
