1 gal. cucumbers, sliced
1 med. onion, sliced
4 c. sugar
4 c. white vinegar
1/3 c. pickling salt
1 1/3 tbsp. mustard seed
1 1/3 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tsp. turmeric

Pack cucumbers and onion in gallon jug. Mix other ingredients well until sugar dissolves. Pour over cucumbers and onion. Do not heat vinegar. Refrigerate.
