1 c. of hot water
1/2 c. of Crisco oil
1 stick of butter
3 tbsp. of cocoa

Mix in large bowl: 2 c. of sugar 1/2 tsp. salt (or less) 1 tsp. baking soda Vanilla 1/2 c. buttermilk 2 lg. eggs or 3 sm.

Mix all together. Cook 30 minutes at 350 degrees. I bake mine in a pan 11 x 12 inch and a nine pan.

FROSTING:

1 stick of butter
6 tbsp. of can milk

Let these come to a boil, then add: Vanilla 1 box of sugar 1 c. pecans

Mix together and spread on bars.
