BANANA NUT BREAD | |
1/2 c. butter, butter or shortening 3/4 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 3 tsp. baking powder 1 c. mashed bananas 1 tsp. lemon juice 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 1/4 tsp. ginger 1 1/2 c. wheat flour 1/4 c. vanilla fat free yogurt Cream shortening and sugar together. Beat eggs and add to above. Blend bananas and lemon juice, add to cream mixture. Add flour, baking powder and mix together. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. (You can add 1 cup of raisins or nuts if desired.) |
