BREAD PUDDING 
4 c. milk
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
Stale bread

Beat the eggs. Add sugar, milk and vanilla. Put in casserole. Quarter the bread slices and place on top. Dip them in the milk so they are wet. Sprinkle nutmeg over top and set casserole in pan of water and bake for 35-40 minutes at 400 degrees or until knife inserted comes out clean.
