PORK CHOPS AND APPLES 
4-5 thin pork chops
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 clove garlic chopped
1 can or bag sauerkraut
1 1/2 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1-2 apple slices
Optional: Raisins

Parboil pork chops. Brown onions, pork chops and garlic in skillet. Add sauerkraut. Put apples on top of pork chops. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over skillet. Add 2 bay leaves over medium flame, cook until bubbly and apples are soft but not mushy. Remove bay leaves. Add raisins if desired. Cook 2-3 minutes more.
