ENGLISH BUTTER TOFFEE 
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. warm water

Turn heat on high. Combine ingredients in a heavy fry pan. Cook to a medium caramel brown. Stir continuously. Remove from heat, pour into cookie sheet and spread quite thin. Sprinkle chocolate chips. Spread evenly when melted. Sprinkle with nuts, chill then break up.
