Hot Pepper Jelly

I have never canned but grew many, many hot red peppers this year and love hot pepper jelly w/cream cheese. How long will this last? Can we make this as Christmas gifts? Also, what is Certo and where do I find it and the canning jars that I will need?

I make this jelly every year. I am making Habanero jelly today. Great for gifts, not sure of the shelf life, but it is sealed, and good for many months. Certo and canning supplies, found everywhere, your local grocery store!
Be sure and wear gloves when handling your peppers...and a couple of drops of red food coloring makes the jelly a vibrant red... have fun!
