MY MOTHER'S EGG BREAD 
2 1/2 c. milk
2/3 c. sifted corn meal
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine first 2 ingredients and cook over very low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Beat the eggs and add the other ingredients. Mix the two mixtures together in iron skillet, heat 2 tablespoons butter (very hot). Pour batter in skillet and bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
