PEPPERED PECANS 
1 lb. shelled pecans
1/4 lb. melted butter
2 tbsp. salt
1 to 3 tsp. cayenne pepper (depending upon degree of spicyness desired)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Arrange pecans on a cookie sheet. Pour butter over them. Sprinkle with seasonings; toss to blend. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, turning twice. Let cool before serving. Makes 6 servings.
