SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA 
4 tbsp. soft butter
2 whole eggs
2 egg yolks
1 c. fresh Parmesan cheese
6 to 8 qts. water
1 tsp. salt
1 lb. spaghetti
8 slices bacon, cut crosswise into 1/4th's
1/2 c. heavy cream
Fresh ground black pepper

Cream soft butter by beating it in a bowl with wooden spoon. In another bowl beat eggs and egg yolks until well blended and stir in grated cheese set bowls aside.

Heat large ovenproof bowl in oven at 200 degrees. At same time bring water and salt to a boil and add spaghetti. Cook spaghetti for 7 to 12 minutes or until tender. Meanwhile, fry bacon in skillet over medium heat until crisp. Pour off 1/2 of bacon fat and stir in cream. Bring cream to a simmer and keep warm.

When spaghetti is cooked. Drain and place in the heated bowl and stir in the butter until all the spaghetti is coated. Then stir in hot bacon and cream mixture thoroughly and then add egg and cheese mixture. The heat of the spaghetti will cook the eggs. Add black pepper and serve.
