SPAGHETTI CARBONARA 
8 oz. spaghetti
1 tbsp. salt
3 qts. boiling water
2 eggs, separated
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. heavy cream
Dash red pepper
6 slices fried bacon crumbled
Salt
Few twists black pepper
Grated Parmesan cheese

Gradually add spaghetti and salt to rapidly boiling water so that water continues to boil; cook until tender.

Meanwhile, beat egg whites until soft peaks form; add egg yolks and beat until foamy. Fold in Parmesan cheese. Heat cream with red pepper just until hot; do not boil. Return spaghetti to pot; add egg mixture and toss until mixed. Pour hot cream over spaghetti and toss again. Add bacon and toss again. Season to taste with remaining ingredients.
