PEANUT BLOSSOMS | |
1/2 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed 1 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. white sugar 1 lg. egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. baking soda Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add soda and salt. Add half of flour, beat; add remaining half; beat. Roll dough in small balls and roll in sugar. Place one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 7 minutes. Remove from oven and press chocolate kiss lightly onto top. Bake additional 2 minutes until lightly brown. Cool completely before stacking. Helps to refrigerate before stacking. Yields: 60 cookies. |
