BEAN AND BACON SLAW 
1 lb. canned kidney beans, drained
2 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. diced celery
2 tbsp. finely chopped onions
4 strips bacon, fried crisp & crumbled
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar

Mix together the first 5 ingredients. Stir and mix well the next 5 ingredients. Pour over beans and cabbage; toss lightly and serve in a lettuce lined bowl. Serves 6 to 8.
