CHEESECAKE BARS 
1/3 c. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour, sifted
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter with brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and walnuts; mix with fingers until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup mixture; press remaining mixture in bottom of 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Beat cheese with sugar until light and fluffy; add remaining ingredients. Beat until thoroughly blended. Spread over baked crust; sprinkle remaining crumb mixture overall. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
