BUTTERSCOTCH DROP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add unbeaten eggs. Add baking soda, cream of tartar and flour which have been sifted together. Add nuts last. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven. Yields 50 cookies.
