ANN'S REALLY GOOD BARS | |
1 box German chocolate cake mix 1 bag caramels 1 can (2/3 c.) evaporated milk 1 c. chocolate chips 3/4 c. butter Mix cake mix, melted butter and 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Put 2/3 batter in a greased 9"x13" cake pan and bake for 8 minutes at 350 degrees. While this is baking, melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk (I use microwave). Take cake out of oven and pour 1 cup chocolate chips over hot cake. Then pour caramel mixture on top. Pour remaining cake batter over cake by spoonfuls. Bake cake again for 12 to 15 minutes. |
