1 c. oil
1 3/4 c. white sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. chopped nuts
4 apples, sliced thin

Mix oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda and cinnamon in the batter. Mix the nuts and apples in. Put into 13"x9" greased and bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees. While still hot, make a topping (thin) of confectionery sugar, hot water and butter flavoring. After it is made dribble topping on hot torte.
