SPICED NUTS 
2 c. salted nuts
1 egg white, slightly beaten
5 tbsp. granulated sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine nuts and egg whites, toss until well coated. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over nuts, stirring until well coated. Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes. Stir once or twice. Stir in raisins and sprinkle with salt. Cool. Store in covered container. Keeps for ages.
