MEXICAN LASAGNE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 pkg. dry taco seasoning mix 1 (16 oz.) can kidney or chili beans 1 pt. chopped tomatoes 1 (16 oz.) jar Picante sauce or salsa 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese 2 to 3 c. crushed tortilla chips This can be prepared in the microwave or oven. The sauce can be prepared, then reheated to layer the ingredients. This recipe is also good served as a dip. In microwave or stove top saute beef, adding the seasoning, sauce, tomatoes, and beans. Heat thoroughly. In iron skillet or baking dish place 1/2 of the crushed chips, then the meat mixture, followed with cheese. Repeat these layers. Bake until cheese melts and recipe is bubbly. |
