CHEESE BISCUITS 
2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
7 tbsp. butter flavored Crisco
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1/4 c. melted butter
Garlic powder to taste

Mix flour, pepper, and mustard. Cut in shortening until coarse and fold in cheese. Add enough milk to make a batter stiff enough to drop. Grease a cookie sheet. Drop batter to form biscuits. Brush tops with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Serves 6.
