LUCY'S BLANKET 
2 lg. frozen bread dough, thawed and let rise once
1 lb. lean hamburger
1/4 c. diced onion
1 med. head cabbage, sliced thin
2 tbsp. butter
Lg. skillet
Oven, preheated to 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes
Salt and pepper to taste

In 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan, stretch and fit 1 loaf bread. In skillet, brown hamburger in butter, push to one side, brown onion, spread this mixture in bread lined pan. Add cabbage to skillet, cook and stir 4 or 5 minutes. Then layer cheddar and cabbage over meat, adding salt and pepper to taste. Over the top stretch second loaf of bread, pinch edges to seal. Serve with white sauce, cream of mushroom or celery soup, beef or chicken gravy.
