HAMBURG VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 1/2 c. water
1 lg. can V-8 juice
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (32 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp. beef bouillon
Salt, pepper & basil to taste

Brown ground beef and drain, add to all other ingredients in a large pot. Cook until celery is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. (You can also clean out the vegetable bin and add cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, etc.) Leftover soup freezes well.
