PEA PATCH CHICKEN 
2 lbs. chicken parts
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can Golden Mushroom soup
1 c. sliced onions
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas

In skillet, brown chicken in shortening, pour off fat. Stir in soup, onion and salt. Cook over low heat, 45 minutes to 1 hour until chicken is done. While chicken is cooking, prepare peas according to package. Be sure to drain thoroughly. Add to chicken, heat and serve. Good with baked or mashed potatoes. Serves 4.
